2012 – Business Education
Robert entered the Ivey Business School in London, Ontario, graduating in 2016 with an HBA. This foundation gave him both the discipline of finance and the mindset of an operator.

Following graduation, Robert joined Restaurant Brands International under the Tim Hortons brand, completing franchisee-level training at Tim Hortons University before commencing RBI’s corporate Leadership Development Program led by 3G Capital.

2019 – Private Equity Experience
Robert continued working with internal teams in strategy, development and finance roles supporting the Tim Hortons brand and was then given an opportunity to relocate to Miami to work directly with RBI’s U.S. team.
Robert joined Garnett Station Partners under his mentor, Alex Macedo, then-President of Burger King and Tim Hortons. There, he led corporate development for Fat Tuesday, gaining firsthand experience in brand expansion through private equity.

2020 – Entrepreneurial Spark
Robert joined Fat Tuesday, a Garnett Station Partners portfolio company, working alongside former Burger King and Tim Hortons executives. He led corporate development initiatives, gaining firsthand experience scaling a private equity-backed consumer brand.
Frustrated by his own dental experiences, Robert saw an opportunity: make dental care better for others. This led to the creation of Habit Dental, a modern practice built on hospitality, comfort, and consistency.

2022 – Reinventing Fat Tuesday
While working within a private equity–backed consumer platform at Fat Tuesday, Robert gained firsthand exposure to how strong brands are scaled operationally and financially. That experience sharpened his conviction that the greatest value creation lies in applying institutional discipline to fragmented, consumer-facing industries—ultimately leading him to launch Habit Dental.
With Habit Dental growing, Robert partnered again with his Fat Tuesday colleagues — this time to reimagine the brand as a nightlife destination. The first full-concept bar opened in Ybor, Tampa, proving the model could thrive beyond Las Vegas and Miami.

Robert George, Principal at Habit Partners
As Habit Dental scaled, Robert re-partnered with his former Fat Tuesday colleagues to reposition the brand as a destination-driven nightlife concept. He launched the first full-format location in Ybor City, Tampa, validating the model’s ability to perform beyond Las Vegas and other grab-and-go markets.
Today, Habit Partners continues to expand through the launch and acquisition of new businesses each year. These experiences crystallized a core thesis: the most compelling value creation comes from scaling proven brands into new markets with institutional operating rigor and disciplined capital partnership. Habit Partners executes that thesis by building and scaling businesses that address clear consumer demand and deliver repeatable, defensible market penetration.
